Great article. As a 25year R’s fan who, due to living abroad rarely gets a chance to see them, it is the internet where my info comes from, and you could not have said it better.

Your opening paragraph is so true.

We are the laughing stock of the Football league. Why won’t Briatore just leave people to do their jobs so things can settle down?

What a well written piece, the only bits you missed out for me, was how high I felt after I left the Chelsea game, I had waited ten years for that game. But how low did I feel at the last game of last years season, When they changed are badge to a pub sign and put our season ticket prices up. this year the same after the man u as a high now coming to the end of the season, will I get a season ticket this year. After 30 years of supporting rangers i have never felt embarrassment, like this even when we played on plastic

Great stuff Dan, an excellent and well thought-out piece. And as a fellow Rangers fan, I can only empathise.
