Man, two of my favorite managers, O’Neil and Coppell both bailing on their teams at the most inappropriate times. It kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I couldn’t be worse for Bristol City at the moment. They got smashed in their opening game, they’ve lost their manager and Nicky Maynard is out for 4 months.

That last part really annoys me because it has effectively ended my bet on him being the Championship top goal scorer :( .

The City lost their best chance of premiership football for a generation, with the departure of Coppell. The directors need to look at how much they put into and take out of the club.A little less selfishness is required.

Rumour has it that David James arrival had a part to play, possibly another case of a manager feeling powerless over transfer dealings (Curbishley, Keegan and O’Neill, high profile managers recently resigning for this).
