you beat me to it Dan mate – i was about to vent my geordie spleen at this latest going on!

But the feeling up in Newcastle is a bit indifferent about Hughton. The fans do appreciate what he has done for the club and the results he has got but the same thing happend with Glenn Roeder and look how that ended. We all know this £20m or so is being invested as little as possible in new recruitments which could help Hughton, even though Llambas has claimed otherwise (basically hinting more loans coming in) and is more to do with covering the debts of the club. The way the club stands at the moment, its almost as if we NEED to go up straight away otherwise we’ll be in so much trouble with costs. We need to hold onto Nolan, Smith, S Taylor and Enrique in January.

I was at the Sheff Utd game the other day where we got another great result, but I am expecting a lot of protesting and frustration venting on Saturday against Peterbourgh. People know Ashley is just trying to milk the club dry of money and has shown a complete lack of respect to the city and the people of Newcastle. I will never refer to our stadium as “insert company here @”.

Also, not to sure about calling Gutierrez one of our quality players, he is absolutley shocking ha ha

If it aint broke don’t fix it, Hughton is the right choice. As for the name of the ground its a funny one but then who cares about the culture of footabll any more? the fans interests were kicked into touch years ago and now they are targetting the grounds.

Football is’nt the game we grew up with decades ago, its like everything else these days, all about the money.

Who cares about the culture of football anymore?

Well, there’s the tens off thousands that go to games every week for a start. It’s attitudes like that that allow people like Ashley to act how he has done.

Yes and good on them, but many can not afford to go anymore including me.
