Bristol City now sit top of the Championship table following a surprise 3-0 result away to Coventry at the Ricoh. Midfielder Michael McIndoe opened his account for the Robins, in addition to contributing to a Coventry own goal. City are top with 11 points after 5 matches, pending Watford’s result on Sunday. Despite Coventry’s defeat, Sky Blues’ gaffer Iain Dowie commented that Coventry were the better side throughout the majority of their match on Saturday.

Great start for Bristol City, but I doubt it will last. They played tough against City in the Carling Cup but thankfully we prevailed due to some magic from Bianchi!
